Uranium Akro Agate Cigar Lighter

Offering a cigar lighter, circa 1920s-30s. It uses an electric heating coil to light your cigar or cigarette. Intended to be left plugged in on a side table or desk, the lighter is activated by a weight that slides freely inside the case. When you pick up the lighter and turn it over, a circuit is completed and the electric heating element starts to glow. The mica disc keeps your cigar from touching the element directly. The ashtray is made from uranium or vaseline Akro Agate, sometimes known as uranium slag glass. Lighter works and no issues with the cord.
