Antique Baccarat Butterfly Paperweight

Offering an antique Baccarat butterfly paperweight with lampwork and millefiori. The butterfly has semi-translucent multicolored body, blue eyes and delicate black antennae, and multi-colored complex cane forewings and hindwings, encircled by a single exterior garland of alternating red and white Stardust canes, rayed base, also called melon ribbed base. The paperweight has a concave top and 6 concave facets around the side. Circa 1845-1855.
